Spend a long-weekend with other like-minded sober people in the majestic splendor of the Canadian Rockies. This Adventure will take you hiking on the Athabasca Glacier, hiking at night to enjoy star-gazing and on a gondola ride to the top of Sulpher Mountain. Tom will present on the basics of recovery nutrition, exercise and spirituality, the core principles of Spiritual Adrenaline. We will enjoy silent meditations, twelve step meetings and the spiritual fulfillment that comes from spending time in nature. Our hotels are all high-end and meals are all healthy and consistent with SA recommendations. Join us and take your sobriety and twelve step program to new heights.

Day 1
Calgary-Kananaskis
Thursday
August 29th

Welcome to the Rocky Mountains! Depending on flight schedules and transfers, consider arriving theday before so you can settle in and not miss a thing. We’ll convene in Calgary for our kickoff meeting,then board our Kananaskis-bound coach.
Later this morning, you can release your inner cowboy (or cowgirl) at Boundary Ranch, where we’ll relish western hospitality and a campfire dinner with perfectly curated entertainment.
After dinner, join us for star-gazing hike. We’ll stop for a silent meditation, soaking up all the positiveenergy of Kananaskis country, then head to our hotel and pack it in for the night.
Day 2
Kananaskis – Lake Louise – Banff
Friday
August 30th
Meals: Breakfast/Dinner
After breakfast we’ll enjoy a scenic drive past Lake Minnewanka. From there we’ll continue to Lake Louise via the equally picturesque Bow Valley Parkway. You’ll have time to go for a hike, canoe the lake (at an extra cost), or simply luxuriate at the 4-star Château Lake Louise.
Later on, after ascending Sulphur Mountain by gondola – where you can soak in some glorious views – we’ll have a short hike to assess everyone’s fitness level.
Tonight’s dinner includes a special guest. A retired RCMP officer – in full Red Serge, no less – will join us for the meal. The rest of the evening is yours to unwind and get set for the next few adventurous days.
Day 3
Icefield Parkway-Banff
Saturday
August 31st

Rise and shine! After breakfast at the hotel, we’re off to the Columbia Icefield. It’s the largest one in the Canadian Rockies, and straddles the Continental Divide. En route there or back, we’ll also visit Peyto Lake and Athabasca Falls, two iconic spots to snap some shots at.
Then it’s time to gussy up and hike Athabasca Glacier, one of Columbia Icefield’s six principal ‘toes’. Our experienced guide will help us navigate through the snow and icy crevasses, with all gear (and lunch provided). No experience necessary!
Back in Banff, you’re welcome to join us for a 12-Step meeting, and the evening is yours to do as you choose.
Day 4
Banff-Calgary
Sunday
September 1st
Meals: Breakfast/Dinner
It’s the last official day of our adventure. Feel free to sleep in, or join us for a sunrise meditation led by Tom, our host from Spiritual Adrenaline. Depending on your strength and endurance, we have several hikes to choose from after breakfast.
In the afternoon, we head back to Calgary for a sightseeing tour and Farewell Dinner at Ten Foot Henry, a vegetable-focused restaurant that ‘bridges the gap between what you should be eating and what you really want to eat’.
